Mudlarked from one of the river's of Manitoba, cleaned up and now repurposed into a match vessel!
Manganese oxide was a chemical commonly used by glassmakers to decolorize glass. At the time of when it was used, it was unknown that when the glass was exposed to the sun, the chemical would change the glass into different shades of purple over time.
