This bar is made by hand in our Winnipeg workshop using the traditional cold process method. Oils and butters are blended with sodium hydroxide, poured into a mould, cut by hand, and then left to cure for 8 to 10 weeks before it reaches the shop.
Curing is the part that matters. A properly cured bar is harder and milder, and it lasts longer in the shower than soap made quickly.
Because every batch is poured and cut by hand, no two bars are quite alike. Small differences in colour, pattern and weight are normal.
