WHAT IS A SUNCATCHER? A suncatcher or light catcher is a small reflective, refractive, and/or iridescent ornament. Suncatchers capture rays of light that can cast a dazzling array of colors across a room. Who says you have to wait until a storm passes to see a rainbow? It's the perfect addition to your favorite window–especially if your home or office receives a lot of sunlight.
I include a suction cup and a mini wall clip with your purchase. You can use the the suction cup to hang it on your window. If you have an overhanging wall you can hang it there, or you can hang it on the frame of a window so that it's slightly away from the glass. Keep in mind that suncatchers work best when they are situated in a window that gets direct sunlight.
The Moon Drop Stone Suncatchers are approximately 10 inches (there’s an additional 8 inches of chain provided in case you would like to hang it higher up). I use a 4 inch metal hoop and a 3 inch metal hoop and wrap it in .4mm thin wire while adding the stone beads as I go. I complete it by adding the large “Moon Drop” crystal.
